My periodic element is hydrogen which is the H symbol on the Periodic table. It is the lightest element on the table. Hydrogen is an element with atomic number 1. It roughly consists of 75% of the universe's element mass. Stars are mainly composed of hydrogen. It is a colourless, highly flammable gaseous element. It's atom has one proton and one electron. Liquid hydrogen is used as a rocket propellant and fuel cells. Hydrogen occurs in large quantities as part of the water in oceans, rivers, lakes and the atmosphere. It is found in the sun and in the stars.
